July 2022 Update No1
We have made important changes to the Engineer Portal to help engineer on multi day jobs. We have also made a small change to reduce engineer button pushes for normal form completion and if they need to alter which form or system they are working with.
In addition, we have added an update tool to InstallerPro to notify and show you updates inside your system. All of your new updates will come through your InstallerPro system as well as via emails. It means that every user including engineers will get the update alerts and be able to see changes as they happen.
Engineers now have a new view and options for Multi Day Jobs. InstallerPro now has an end of day and finish early function. You can see below that a job can now be shown as a Multi Day Job and that the number of days is shown. The day value will change each day to 1 of, 2 of and so on.
At the end each day the engineer will now see that the forms button has been replaced with and End of Day Button and a Finish Early Button. At the end of each day prior to competing the job and engineer will press the end of Day button and a text box will appear to record the day’s activity. This will continue up to the last day when the Forms button will appear. The system will record the details and summarise all hours worked on the job from each day in the report timesheet.
If the engineer finishes the job a day early they can press the Finish Early button and the Forms will appear to complete the job. If the engineer finished the job early it will complete the job in the system.
Engineer Form Change
We have reduced the number of button-pushes for the engineer when they go to complete the form. We have removed the options to select alternative forms but put these in as option buttons to change system type or select an alternative system type. The normal Job Information Button is shown at the top, then
change visit type and system type (All Systems view).
InstallerPro is continuously evolving and when it does, we often need to issue updated training materials to keep you evolving with the product. In order to make these updates easier to keep up with we have introduced a new update message bar. This will pop up for all office and engineer users so updates will now go directly to engineers as well as office users.
You can read and print this document and have one of three options you can choose at the bottom.
If you have read the info about the update and would still like further clarification you can request additional support and our team will get back to you as soon as possible to answer any questions you may have. If you wish to read this message later on because you don’t have time right now you can snooze the notification and it will appear again at the later time.
If you’ve read the update and it’s all good you can press the “Read & Understood” button which will permanently dismiss the notification from your screen. You can’t snooze a notification indefinitely, the information in them is time sensitive to when the update is deployed. If the update is imminent and you haven’t read the update and selected one of the options it will turn red to indicate that this really does need your attention.
